Just a quick message. Your profile may say "male" right now. You can change that to female or make it unspecified. The software oddly puts it on male for default. Go to the upper right corner and click your name and then click User Control Panel. On that screen, click the profile tab and it should be the first option to change. You should see male, female, and none specified. Thanks!

Hi Guys,

Wanted to post an update on the main thread rather than other threads.

First and foremost, here's Part 2 of a big brother canada 6 compilation : https://streamable.com/eo0xh
There are a tonne more absolutely hot burps, but the problem is that the BBViewer no longer streams Big Brother Canada 6, so those clips are seemingly lost forever. Can one of you guys (just one, we don't want to bug him too much, volunteer in the thread below) message liquid8 (the guy who wrote the BBViewer Software) on twitter (https://twitter.com/liquid8d), and ask him politely whether he can bring back Big Brother Canada 6 on BBViewer (and Big Brother US 16 and 17). Don't mention the burping. Just ask him politely if it's possible. If he brings it back, I have timestamped many more clips.

A lot of the clips in the above video were from Youtube. You might be wondering how I managed to find burps hidden in 3 hour long videos. The method I used was to clip on "Open Transcript" just below the video and search for "burp" and "excuse me". You won't believe how many burps you can find using this method - I was amazed myself. It might be a very useful way to find burps in long mukbang videos. Google's speech to text algorithms are very good nowadays, so I suggest you try them out as well. It's especially useful if you know what someone says after they burp like, "sorry" or "excuse me" and they always say it.
Hi theincadinca i really enjoy your compilation and the tip to find burps in long videos is great !!

Thanks, Crakos.

Here's a mukbang compliation I made using the "open transcripts" trick using the keyword "excuse me" in about 1 hour. https://streamable.com/o2mca

Some people ask me "Do you use any software to make compilations?"

Previously, I had written an automated software that would read a text file with timestamps like :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-uDQ28AZuE, 11:30, 32:25, 1:38:14
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pqZCL1wY60, 1:05:02

I would assume that each burp lasts for 5 seconds.
This software would then download the videos using command-line youtube-downloader, use command-line ffmpeg to cut the clips and stitch them all together. I used that software to make this compilation of annchirisu : https://streamable.com/z5sa1

But it works only for Youtube videos (not for twitch or periscope or some other platform unless the command-line downloader softwares for them are released), and it can give rise to bugs sometimes.

So now I have a more "hands on" method of making compilations which is better. It is super-fast and easy way to make compilations which doesn't involve downloading any videos. I use a software called SimpleScreenRecorder (free, Linux) or QuickTime (free, Mac). These softwares can both screen-record audio and video of a particular window or rectangle on your screen.

The idea is to note down all the timestamps of a Youtube or twitch video. Then you focus the SimpleScreenRecorder rectangle on the Youtube window. Suppose the burp occurs at 11:30, then you just start playing at 11:25 and hit the record button on your software. Once the burp is done, you just pause the recording. Then move to the next burp at 32:25 and start playing at 32:20 and hit the record button. And so on and so forth. This way, you don't need to download any of the clips and it's especially fast for Twitch compilations.

The other cool thing with the "open transcripts" trick is that if you click on the transcript, it automatically takes you to the exact location of the time someone says "excuse me" or something. So just click on it, hit record and pause after you're done.

Sorry for the long post, but I hope this helps everyone on the forum spot burps and make quick compilations.

If only we could use it on twitch, we would never run out of content if that were possible

I've been searching through youtube subtitles lately. I hadn't thought of using 'excuse me' and other such phrases. I'll have to try that.

There are ways to look at twitch subtitles if you don't mind manually searching through videos.
